Learn the basics of fly fishing on Smith Creek, like reel setup and casting techniques, during our level 1 fly fishing class.
The Unicoi State Park Archery & Air Gun Range is a shooting facility that is set up for static archery target practice, 3-D archery target practice and air gun rifle target practice.
Work with our Activities Attendant for 45 minutes to practice your hatchet throwing skills at our outdoor range.
The cool, spring-fed Unicoi Lake offers a swimming beach that is open during the summer months.
Join our park staff to learn more about the ecology of the North Georgia Mountains, take guided hikes, roast marshmallows at our campfire events and so much more!
Our bike-only Mountain Bike trails take you onto strenuous to moderate trail rides through fields, forests and woodland paths specifically designed for mountain bikes. Bring your own bike and hit the trails. This is a self-guided activity.
The trails at Unicoi are enjoyable year-round. Five hiking trails (foot traffic only) are located at Unicoi or nearby Anna Ruby Falls, ranging from a 1/3-mile nature trail to the six-mile roundtrip Unicoi/Helen Trail.
On the 2nd Saturday of every month at 12:00 pm, come to the Visitor Center for this free encounter with scaled critters of the forest. Date subject to change; check with the Visitor Center.
